Youth Programme Officer

Reporting to the Alternative Care Coordinator, the Youth Programme Officer will be responsible for guiding SOS youth towards independence according to SOS CV policies and procedures, so that when youth leave the care of SOS Children’s Villages, they are self-reliant and contributing members of society. In achieving this, the YPO should be seen as a role model, providing advice, supporting the education programme, providing guidance on life skills, supporting and offering a positive example to the youth in their development from adolescence to adulthood. The YPO shall also be required to accompany young people to self-reliance, and to develop and implement youth programmes.
